Attendee Information

PMI is pleased to host PMI19 Manufacturing Success Conference at The Don CeSar Hotel in St. Pete Beach, Florida. Dramatically perched atop wind-swept dunes with expansive views in every direction, the legendary Pink Palace is the epitome of old-world glamour and sophistication. Since 1928, it has graciously welcomed the world's elite, stars of the silver screen, renowned authors, U.S presidents and even a gangster or two, all seeking a private, sophisticated playground in the sun.

PMI has secured sleeping rooms for a special rate of $229 per night. Check-in time is 4 p.m., check-out is 11 a.m. The reservations office number is 1-800-282-1116 and please ask for the “Plumbing Manufacturers International” group. You may also book your hotel online. Please note the hotel handles their room reservations through a separate system from PMI. Attendees will need to register for the hotel and the conference itself separately.

IMPORTANT NOTE: How you make your reservations impacts PMI... and can also impact you! PMI contracts for the hotel’s best conference rate by agreeing to meet a certain number of room nights during the meeting (our “block” of rooms) and guarantees that reservations made under that “block” are protected against cancellation. PMI can continue to negotiate the best conference rates for future meetings based on the success in meeting the room block.

While cheaper rates are sometimes available outside of PMI’s block through an Internet service, hotels are not required to honor those reservations. These cheaper Internet-only prices are often cancelled by the hotel when it is faced with an “over sold” situation. You arrive at the hotel, only to learn that your reservation has been released and you have no sleeping accommodations. When room reservations are made outside of PMI’s block, it can result in stiff financial penalties to PMI and, in the end, the individual “savings” cost the organization more.

How to Get Here

The Don CeSar is located on a peninsula between Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico; the hotel is connected to mainland Florida to the north. Alternatively, the bridges on I-275 connect to St. Petersburg from Northwest Tampa and Terra Ceia. We're just 30 minutes from Tampa International Airport and 25 minutes from St. Petersburg/Clearwater International Airport, which is approximately a ~$30 - $40 Uber or Lyft ride. Alternatively, you may rent a car or contact The Don CeSar directly to arrange for private sedan, taxi or shuttle service from the airport. If you choose to drive, hotel guests are required to pay a self-parking fee of $15 plus tax or a valet parking fee of $27 plus tax at The Don CeSar.
